Description of Change: The seal that is located on the valve body has been changed to an O-ring seal that is seated in a floating flange. This O-ring is resistant to oil, coolant, and fuel. The O-ring is also resistant to becoming dry. The packing gland on the top cap of the pump has also been replaced by an O-ring seal.Adaptable To: The 317-3347 Sump Pump Gp is a direct replacement for the 4P-9846 Sump Pump Gp .The new sump pump is adaptable back to the first production of the listed engines.
