Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

Use a suitable lifting device to support coupler cylinder assembly (1) and hook assembly (2). The combined weight of coupler cylinder assembly (1) and hook assembly (2) is approximately 101 kg (223 lb).
Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining rings (4). Remove retaining rings (4) and pin (3).

To ensure that no cylinder load is being placed on the trunnion bolts, open counterbalance valve bleeder (5).

Mark rocker caps (6) prior to removal to ensure that rocker caps (6) are reinstalled on the original rocker and in the original orientation.Note: Due to the machining process of the rockers, the caps are matched to the lower rocker as a set. Caps should not be swapped between rockers and rocker
