Install bushings (18) onto the cylinder assembly.

Install bushing (17) and fitting (16) to rod assembly (6).

Install back-up ring (11) and O-ring seal (12). Install wear ring (15), lip seal (14), and wiper seal (13).
Install head assembly (5) onto rod assembly (6).

Install piston rings (9) and (10) onto piston (8).

Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of piston (8). Install piston (8). Refer to Table 2 for the torque values of piston (8). Install set screws (7).

Install rod assembly (6), head assembly (5), and the piston as a unit into the cylinder assembly.Note: Use two people to remove the rod assembly, the head assembly, and the piston if the combined weight exceeds 23 kg (50 lb). Refer Table 3 for the combined weight of the rod assembly, the head assembly, and the piston.

Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (4). Install bolts (4). Refer to Table 2 for the torque values of bolts (4).
