(13) Canopy motor disable relay"K32"Relays for the auxiliary hydraulic system are installed on the power distribution board, located inside the electrical compartment at the rear of the machine. An access panel at the rear of the operator station provides access to these components.These relays control power to solenoids on hydraulic valves to initiate movement of the corresponding auxiliary system. The relays are actuated by the various ECMs on the machine as follows:
The transmission ECM actuates the antislab raise relay"K27" (4), antislab lower relay"K28" (5), and antislab float relay"K29" (6). When an antislab raise, lower, or float command is generated, the ECM energizes the respective relay. In this case, the antislab assembly moves in the corresponding direction or floats as per the command.
The machine ECM actuates the conveyor swing left relay"K7" (1) and conveyor swing right relay"K8" (2). When a conveyor swing left or conveyor swing right command is generated, the ECM energizes the respective relay. In this case, the conveyor moves in the corresponding direction as per the command.
The machine ECM actuates the conveyor lower relay"K12" (7), and conveyor raise relay"K13" (8). When a conveyor lower or conveyor raise command is generated, the ECM energizes the respective relay. In this case, the conveyor moves in the corresponding direction as per the command.
The machine ECM actuates the ventilation relay"K4" (3). When a ventilation on command is generated, the ECM energizes the relay. In this case, the ventilation system is enabled per the command.
The I/O module (not shown) on the power distribution board actuates the conveyor fold relay"K39" (9) and conveyor unfold relay"K40" (10). When a conveyor fold or conveyor unfold command is generated, the I/O module energizes the respective relay. In this case, the conveyor second-stage moves in the corresponding direction as per the command.
When the engine is running. the transmission ECM actuates the canopy motor disable relay"K32" (13). This relay transfers power to the coil of the canopy switch disable relay.
The transmission ECM actuates the canopy raise relay"K30" (11) and canopy lower relay"K31" (12). When a canopy lower or canopy raise command is generated, the transmission ECM energizes the respective relay. In this case, the canopy moves in the corresponding direction as per the command.

Canopy Switch Disable Relay
(14) Canopy switch disable relayCanopy switch disable relay (14) is mounted inside the machine frame at the left-rear corner of the machine.Canopy switch disable relay (14) and canopy motor disable relay (13) operate together to prevent the accessory power unit from energizing while the engine is running.When the engine is running, canopy motor disable relay"K32" (13) generates an output signal to energize canopy switch disable relay (14). When this happens, the accessory power unit relay is de-energized and the accessory power unit cannot be operated.Note:
