Place stick (1) into a vertical position. Position the boom onto Tooling (A) .

Remove clip (3). Position tube assembly (2) and hose assembly (3) to the side. Remove bolts (5). Position bracket (4), hose assembly (3), hose assembly (6), and tube assembly (2) to the side. Repeat for the other side.

Place suitable cribbing (10) under stick cylinder (11). Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (7) and shims (8). Remove pin (9) .
Retract stick cylinder (11). Install pin (9) and shims (8). Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (7). Attach a suitable lifting device to stick (1). The weight of stick (1) is approximately 230 kg (507 lb).
Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (12). Remove pin (13). Remove stick (1) and any shims (14) that may be present.

Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (7). Remove shims (8) and pin (9). Use Tooling (C) in order to remove bearings (15) and (16) .Installation Procedure

Lower the temperature of bearings (15) and (16). Use Tooling (C) in order to install bearings (15) and (16). Install pin (9) and shims (8). Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (7) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to stick (1). The weight of stick (1) is approximately 230 kg (507 lb). Install stick (1) and any shims (14) that were present during the removal procedure. Install pin (13). Install shims (14). Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (13). Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (7). Remove pin (9) and shims (8).
Extend stick cylinder (11). Install pin (9). Install shims (8). Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (7). Remove suitable cribbing (10) from stick cylinder (11).

Position tube assembly (2) and hose assembly (3) to the side. Position bracket (4), hose assembly (3), hose assembly (6), and tube assembly (2). Install bolts (5). Install clip (3). Repeat for the other side.End By: Install the extendable stick cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Extendable Stick Cylinder - Remove and Install".
