Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to ripper tooth (3). The weight of ripper tooth (3) is approximately 336 kg (740 lb). Remove pin (2). Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to lower ripper tooth (3) from ripper (1). Repeat this step for the remaining ripper teeth.

Lower ripper (1) onto suitable cribbing.
Release the hydraulic system pressure.

Attach suitable lifting devices to link assembly (5). The weight of link assembly (5) is approximately 295 kg (650 lb).
Remove plate (7) and remove pin assembly (4).
Remove plate (8) and remove pin assembly (6).
Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove link assembly (5).

Remove lip seals (9) from each end of link assembly (5).

Attach Tooling (B) to link assembly (5). Use Tooling (B) in order to remove two sleeve bearings (10) (not shown). Repeat this step for the opposite side of link assembly (5).
Repeat Steps 5 through 10 for the remaining link assembly (5).

Disconnect hose assemblies (11).

Attach a suitable lifting device to ripper lift cylinder (12). The weight of ripper lift cylinder (12) is approximately 175 kg (386 lb).
Remove plate (14) and remove pin assembly (13).
Remove plate (16) and remove pin assembly (15).
Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove ripper lift cylinder (12)
Repeat Steps 12 through 16 for the remaining ripper lift cylinder.

Position additional cribbing under ripper (1).

Install pins (6). Attach suitable lifting devices to pins (6) and beam assembly (17). The weight of beam assembly (17) is approximately 2560 kg (5645 lb).
Remove plate (18) and pin assembly (20). Remove hard washers (19). Repeat this step on the opposite side of the machine.
Use the suitable lifting devices in order to remove beam assembly (17).

Attach Tooling (C) and suitable lifting devices to ripper frame (24). The weight of ripper frame (24) is approximately 1830 kg (4035 lb).
Remove plate (21) and pin assembly (22). Remove hard washers (23). Repeat this step on the opposite side.
Use Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting devices in order to remove ripper frame (24).

Remove lip seals (25). Repeat this step for the remaining lip seals in ripper frame (24).
