Disassembly Procedure (C0.5, C0.7, C1.1/3011C and C1.6 engines)
Start By:
Remove the rocker shaft and the pushrods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rocker Shaft and Pushrod - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove the threaded plug (6) from the base of the rocker shaft (8).
Remove the O-ring (5) from the threaded plug (6). Discard the O-ring.
On C0.7, C1.1/3011C and C1.5/3013C engines, remove the setscrew (7) that locates the rocker shaft (4) to the base of the rocker shaft (8). Note: Setscrew (7) is not used on the C0.5 engine.
In order to remove the rocker shaft (4), install a suitable setscrew with a M8 x 1.25 thread into the end of the rocker shaft. Use the setscrew to pull the rocker shaft (4) from the base of the rocker shaft (8).
Remove the rocker arms (3), the washers (9), and the springs (10). Note: Place an identification mark on each of the components for installation.
Remove the adjustment screws (1) and the nuts (2) from rocker arms (3).
Inspect all of the components for wear or for damage. Refer to the Specifications Manual, "Rocker Shaft". If any of the components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Disassembly Procedure (C1.5/3013C, C2.2/3024C and C2.2/3024CT engines)
