Remove the mounting bracket. Refer to Service Manual, "Mounting Bracket - Remove and Install".
Remove the gerotor motors. Refer to Service Manual, "Gerotor Motor - Remove".
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before operating any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.After collecting all fluids in suitable containers, dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
When possible, position the work tool upright. The work tool should only be positioned in an upright position on a solid, level surface. If a solid level surface is not available, lay the work tool on a side.
Put identification marks on all hoses for installation purposes. Plug all hoses in order to help prevent fluid loss and contamination of the fluid system.

Remove the eight bolts, the washers, and four half flanges (2) that secure the two hose assemblies to swivel (1). Remove the O-ring seals from the hose assemblies and position the hoses out of the way.
Remove two flanges (3) from the swivel. Remove the two O-ring seals from the flanges.
Remove the six bolts and the washers that secure lock plate (4) to swivel (1). Remove the plate.

Attach Tooling (A), appropriate lifting chains, and a hoist to upper housing (5). The weight of the hydraulic rotator is 592 kg (1305 lb).

Remove 36 bolts (6) and the washers that secure hydraulic rotator (7) to lower housing (8). Some of the bolts must be removed from the inside of the lower housing. Remove the rotator from the work tool.

Remove ring (9) from rotator (7) .
Place the rotator on a clean, solid surface and remove Tooling (A) .
