Do not under fill or overfill engine crankcase with oil. Either condition can cause engine damage.
Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Access Doors and Covers" for the location of the service points.Park the machine on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine.Note: Drain the crankcase while the oil is warm. This allows waste particles that are suspended in the oil to drain. As the oil cools, the waste particles will settle to the bottom of the crankcase. The particles will not be removed by draining the oil and the particles will recirculate in the engine lubrication system with the new oil.These machines were equipped with two different types of filters from the factory. Early machines utilized a spin-on type filter. The spin-on type filters have an integrated filter element and housing. Later machine utilize a cartridge type filter. This filter design has a separate reusable filter housing and only the filter media is replaced. Procedures for replacing both types of filters are listed below.Spin-on Type Filter Change Procedure

Open crankcase drain valve (1). Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.
Close crankcase drain valve (1).

Open the right side or left side access door.
Clean the area around engine oil filter (2) before you remove the engine oil filter. Remove the engine oil filter with a strap type wrench. Refer
