Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (C). The weight of Tooling (C) is approximately 159 kg (350 lb).
Install Tooling (C) on bearing assembly (6).
Remove bearing assembly (6). Note: Bearing assembly (6) consists of two bearings and a spacer.Installation Procedure

When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.
Do not use threaded rods that have not been hardened as tooling with hydraulic cylinders. The maximum rated tonnage should be stamped on one end of the puller studs. Do not use threaded rods that have not been stamped with the rated tonnage.

Lower the temperature of bearing assembly (6).
Apply Tooling (F) to the bore of the tilt cylinder.
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (D). The weight of Tooling (D) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).
Use Tooling (D) to install bearing assembly (6) on the right side of the bore. Note: Leave Tooling (D) installed on the right side in order to install the bearing on the opposite side.
Install the bearing spacer. The hole in the spacer must be aligned with the fill port of the tilt cylinder head.
Use Tooling (D) to install bearing (6) on the left side of the bore. Press the bearing until both bearings are seated against the bearing spacer. Note: There should be no gap between the spacer and the bearings. The right bearing and the left bearing should extend from the outside surfaces of the bore by 2.0 0.5 mm (0.08 0.02 inch).
Remove Tooling (D).

Lower the temperature of bearing (5).
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (E). The weight of Tooling (E) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).
Use Tooling (E) to install bearing (5) in the tilt cylinder rod. Note: The bearing must be flush to the outside surfaces.
Remove Tooling (E).

Install lip seals (4) in the rod end of tilt cylinder (3).

Apply SAE 80W90 oil to pin (2) and the inside diameters of the bearings for bucket link (1) and for tilt cylinder (3).
Install tilt cylinder (3) in the slotted end of bucket link (1).
Install pin (2). End By:
Install the boom links. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Boom Links - Install".
