Use Tool (A) and a suitable hoist to support the weight of the oil cooler core for the rear brakes. The oil cooler core for the rear brakes weighs approximately 295 kg (650.4 lb).
Install the oil cooler core for the rear brakes, the eight washers, and eight bolts (38) .

Install the eight washers, four nuts (37), and four bolts (36) .Note: Before installation, apply 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound to the O-ring seals.
Install O-ring seal (20). Connect tube assembly (21). Install split flange (19), the four washers, and four bolts (18) .
Connect tube assembly (22) .
Install one retaining ring (16), two retainers (15), the two washers, and two bolts (14) .
Install split clamp (24), the washer, and bolt (23). Bolt (23), the washer, and split clamp (24) secure tube assembly (22) in two locations.

Connect tube assembly (4) .
Remove one retaining ring (12), two retainers (11), the two washers, and two bolts (10) .
Tighten clamp (3) .
Install split clamp (2), the washer, and bolt (1) .
Fill the hydraulic oil tank for the hoist and brakes. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Fill the right side of the radiator with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual.End By:
Install the oil screens for the rear brake cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oil Screen (Rear Brake Cooler) - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Disconnect the retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
