Press the menu key on the IQAN display. Press the function key for the "ADJ Boom" function.
The function that needs to be adjusted can now be selected. To select the function, press a switch or move a joystick in the corresponding direction. The function will move. Release the joystick or the switch.
Joystick/Toggle Switch
If the joystick for the boom function is moved, the IQAN screen will display the following message:

To change the "Max current" (5), the "Ramp time" (8), the "Fine CONT" (10), or the "Min current" (11), press the function key next to the value.Note: Ensure that the "Min current" is adjusted properly before you adjust the other settings.Note: Before you adjust the "Min current" (11), ensure that you have the function selected. Select "Min current" (11). Slowly move the joystick to the end of travel. Normally, the function will move slightly. If the function is moving too fast, lower the current in "Min current" (11). If the function does not move, increase the current until the function begins to move slightly. Then, release the control. Use the following procedure to set the current:
Use the arrow keys to adjust the value. Press the menu key in order to save the new setting.
After the value has been changed, test the function again with the engine at normal operating speed. Move the joystick through the full range of operation.Note: You can operate all of the remaining functions at normal speed while you can adjust the "Max current" of one selected function.
On/Off Switches
There is only one magnitude of current that can flow from an on/off switch. The switch for steering can only move at one speed. If the switch for steering right is pressed, the IQAN screen will display the following message:
