PROBLEM
The existing travel motor 227-0674 Hose Assembly may have friction contact with the undercarriage frame on certain 329D and 329D2 Excavators. If the existing travel motor hose gets damaged by the friction contact, it can result in hydraulic oil leak and loss of travel function.

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove and inspect the condition of 227-0674 Hose Assembly (qty four). These hoses connect the travel motor group with the swivel group.
If the existing 227-0674 Hose Assembly requires replacement for the field units, replace the existing hose assembly with 487-7015 Hose Assembly. Refer to SEPD2026, Service Magazine, "A New Hose Assembly is Available for Certain 329D and 329D2 Excavators and 329D Mobile Hydraulic Power Units", for the replacement procedure.
