Open the left side access door and turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Open hood assembly (1) .
Remove two bolts (2) and the two washers. Open engine access door (3) .

Note: Mark the direction of rotation of the alternator belt if the belt will be reused.
Install a 1/2" square drive tool into Hole (Y) in tensioner (5). From the front of the engine, turn the tool in a clockwise direction.
Insert Tooling (A) into Hole (X).
Remove alternator belt (4) .Installation Procedure
Install alternator belt (4) in the reverse order of removal.
