Illustration 1.Illustration 2 shows the location of the pins and collets, and the chart gives the necessary tools for removal and installation of the pins and collets at each location.

Illustration 4 shows the tools correctly assembled for removal of the pins at locations 3, 8 and 9.

On machines with Serial Numbers 42X804-Up, the right outside collet at location 5 has been changed. The diameter of the center, tapped hole has been decreased from 38.1 mm (1.5") to 31.75 mm (1.250"). The 12 UNF thread has not been changed.

The necessary tools are given in the chart and the correct assembly of the tools is shown in Illustration 6. The chart also lists the tools necessary for installation and removal of pins and collets at all locations.

The 6V14 Hollow Ram Cylinder must be chained to the bucket or linkage, as shown in Illustration 5, to prevent a kickback (recoil) of the cylinder at the separation of the pin or collet from the linkage.
