G3608 (4WF) EnginesDescription of Change: The engine wiring groups on these engines have been changed to include new stainless steel tube assemblies to connect the air inlet manifold and the fuel manifold to the air/fuel pressure module. The new tube assemblies are stronger and more corrosion resistant than the former hose assemblies. The location of the air tube assembly was moved from the bottom of the air inlet manifold to the top. In humid applications, moisture could condense in the bottom of the air inlet manifold. This could allow the former air hose assembly to deliver condensate to the air/fuel pressure module. This could result in damage to the air/fuel pressure module.
The air/fuel pressure module was rotated 180 degrees to accommodate routing the new air and gas tube assemblies which are to the top of the air inlet manifold and gas manifold.
Adaptable To: The new 132-3126 Air Tube Assembly replaces the former 2T-1392 Air Hose Assembly. The new 132-3127 Gas Tube Assembly replaces the former 7E-1230 Gas Tube Assembly. A new 132-3125 Cover Assembly is required to relocate the new air tube assembly. A plug must be installed where the former air hose assembly was connected to the air inlet manifold. A plug must be installed where the former gas hose assembly was connected to the fuel manifold.The new components are effective with G3606 (3XF52-Up) Magneto Engines and G3608 (4WF41-Up) Magneto Engines.
