Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the auger conveyor.
Remove the apron.

Raise the hoppers and place bar (1) in the LOCK position on both sides of the machine.

Remove the bolts, the nuts, and guard assembly (2). Repeat for the opposite side.
Remove the bolts, the nuts, and guard assembly (3).

Remove the bolts, the nuts, and guard assemblies (4).
Remove the bolts, the nuts, and guard assembly (5).
Remove the bolts and plate assembly (6).

Remove cotter pins (11) and shaft (9).
Turn shafts (8) and (10) counterclockwise to relieve the tension on drag conveyor (7).
Repeat Steps 7 and 8 for the opposite side of the drag conveyor.

Remove lock pins (12), side bars (13), and master link (14).
Illustration 6 g03699117Note: Pull the bottom portion of the drag conveyor to the rear of the machine.
Attach a suitable lifting device to drag conveyor (7). The weight of drag conveyor (7) is approximately 290 kg (640 lb).
Remove drag conveyor (7).
If necessary, remove the remaining drag conveyor.Installation Procedure
Install drag conveyor (7) in the reverse order of removal.
Turn shafts (8) and (10) clockwise to tighten the tension on drag conveyor (7). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Drag Conveyors - Adjust" to adjust the tension on drag conveyor (7).
