CAN shield 1 J1-22 Y958-C1 Various ECM outputs are transmitted over this data link
CAN data link + 2 J1-21 Y956-C3
CAN data link - 3 J1-20 Y957-C3
Action alarm 4 J1-64 X416-C4 This normally open output is used to illuminate the amber warning lamp that is on the operator panel. The lamp indicates that there is an electrical problem or that there is abnormal operating condition.
If the output is activated, the output is connected to the -Battery. The ground is internal to the ECM. There is no connection on the terminal block for the output.
The driver can absorb a maximum of 0.3 A.
Use this connection for a fault alarm on the customer panel.
Engine fault 5 J1-17 Y993-C5 This normally open output is used to illuminate the red stop lamp that is on the operator panel. The lamp indicates an engine shutdown because of an electrical problem or that there is abnormal operating condition.
If the output is activated, the output is connected to the -Battery.
The driver can absorb a maximum of 0.3 A.
Use this connection for a fault shutdown on the customer panel.
Engine running 6 J1-63 Y993-C6 This normally open output is used to illuminate the "Engine On" lamp that is on the operator panel. The output is used to indicate that the engine is in the run mode.
When the output is activated, the output is connected to the -Battery.
Desired speed 7 n/a 388-CH The desired speed requires a 0 to 5 VDC analog input.
Low idle request 8 J1-47 C418-C8 Unused
Stop 9 J1-50 R776-C9 Unused
Start 10 J1-51 R775-C10 Unused
Digital return 11 n/a J842-C11 This connection provides a return for various inputs.
User-defined shutdown 12 J1-49 G966-C12 When the engine is not running, the customer equipment grounds this wire to the digital return.
