TANK AS-HYDRAULIC 2809601 - Caterpillar

1. Remove sixteen bolts (1) and covers (2). 2. Remove pin (3) to disconnect rod assembly (4).3. Remove nut (5) that holds rod assembly (6) to the lever.5. Remove rod assembly (6). 6. Loosen nut (7). Remove rod end (8) and nut (7) from rod (9). 7. Remove two bolts (10) and pedal (11). 8. Remove adjustment rod (12) from pedal (11). 9. Remove retaining pin (13), pin (14), bracket (15) and spacers (16) from the pedal.10. Remove the bearings from the pedal. 11. Remove rod assembly (4).12. Loosen bolt (19) and slide lever (17) to the left side of the machine.13. Remove the key that makes a location for lever (17) on lever assembly (18). 14. Remove lever assembly (18), lever (17) and spacer (20) from the dash. 15. Loosen nuts (21).16. Remove rod ends (23), nuts (21) and boot (22) from the rod. 17. Remove bearings (24) from the dash.Install Governor And Decelerator Group
For correct installation and adjustment of the governor and decelerator group, see TESTING AND ADJUSTING Form No. SENR2226. 1. Install bearings (1) in the dash with tooling (A). 2. Put lever assembly (2) in the dash as shown.3. Put spacer (4) on the lever assembly.4. Install the key in lever assembly (2).5. Put lever (3) on lever assembly (2) and slide lever assembly (2) into position.6. Put lever (3) in position over the key and tighten the bolt that holds it. 7. Put boot (5), nuts (6) and rod ends (7) in position on rod (8). Tighten nuts (6) to a torque of 9 3 lb.ft. (12 4 N m). 8. Put rod (8) in position and install the pins and cotter pins that hold it. 9. Install the bearings in pedal (12) with tooling (A).10. Install bracket (10), spacers (11), pin (13) and retaining pin (9) on pedal (12). 11. Install adjustment rod (14) on pedal (12). 12. Install pedal (12) and the two bolts that hold it in position.13. Put washers (15) in position on the adjustment rod. 14. Install nut (16) and rod end (17) on rod (18). 15. Install rod (18) and the nut that holds it in position. 16. Install two covers (19) and bolts (20) that hold them to the dash.
