calibration procedure is for the left and right material height dials. The following submodes and calibrations are used for this procedure:
Submode c09 - Left material height dial full CW.
Submode c10 - Left material height dial full CCW.
Submode c11 - Right material height dial full CW.
Submode c12 - Right material height dial full CCW.Note: Always perform both the full CW calibration and the full CCW calibration for each dial.
Turn the key start switch to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
Enter calibration mode 2 on the ECM display. To do so, press and hold the ECM Mode switch until "- 2 -" is showing in the display area. Submode c01 should be displayed which will confirm that the calibration mode has been entered.
Enter submode c09 for the left material height dial full CW calibration. Submode c09 is displayed on the ECM display. If submode c09 is not displayed, press and hold the display mode switch in the INCREMENT position until "c09" is showing.
Turn the left material height dial to the full CW position.
Store the value of the signal currently being sent from the left material height dial. In order to store the value, press and hold the display mode switch in the CLEAR/STORE position. While the switch is pressed, the red indicator (not accepted) or the amber indicator (accepted) will briefly flash. Observe the status of these indicators while the switch is in the CLEAR/STORE position, then release the display mode switch.Result:Accepted - The amber indicator flashed. The calibration has been accepted. The calibration has been stored in the ECM memory. Proceed to Step 6.Not Accepted - The red indicator flashed. The calibration has not been accepted.
