- - Before use apply sealer, the ends of the exhaust manifolds should be clean and free from dirt, rust, grease, and oil.
1 2 102-8608 Exhaust Manifold Before assembly, apply 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outer diameter of the male ends of the exhaust manifold. Remove excess sealer from the assembled joint.
2 1 101-7354 Exhaust Manifold Before assembly, apply 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the inner diameter of the female ends of the exhaust manifold. Remove excess sealer from the assembled joint.
3 11 106-1792 Taperlock Stud Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft)
1 4S-6137 Taperlock Stud
4 12 2N-2766 Locknut Before assembly, apply 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads.
Refer to Illustration 2 in order to tighten the locknut 1 through locknut 12 to 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
