Inspect all 346-9376 Antenna As. in dealer parts stock.
- If the label on the bottom of the 346-9376 Antenna As. has 346-9376-02 printed on the label as shown in Image3, return the antenna to the original packaging. Mark the package to indicate it has been inspected according to this program (PI7####). Return the antenna to dealer parts stock.
- If the label on the bottom of the 346-9376 Antenna As. matches the type of label as shown in Image2 which does not list the engineering change level after the part number, remove the antenna from dealer parts stock.
****Affected Product****
If a device is reporting data (hours, fault codes, etc) but is not reporting a GPS location (as seen in VisionLink), the GPS center pin on the antenna likely has corrosion. Replace antenna with a new 346-9376-02 Antenna As.(346-9376 engineering change level 02 Antenna As.). Refer to Image1 for an example of the failure mode.
This is only applicable to engineering change level 01 antennas. If an antenna is exhibiting the failure mode, check the bottom of the antenna to see the label matches Image2 which does not list the engineering change level after the part number.
The engineering change level 02 is printed on the label as shown in Image3. An antenna with the label in Image3 are not applicable for replacement under this service letter.
