ACTION REQUIRED
The 361-4731 Valve Group must be removed from the machine. Replace the 153-9990 Valve with a 423-7715 Valve. Replace the 9L-9188 Spring with a 7L-8695 Spring. Remove the 9T-5734 Spacer. The 9T-5734 Spacer will not be reused. Do not replace this spacer. Replace the 153-9989 Plug, the 3G-5003 Bushing, and 6K-6307 O-Ring.
Note: The 3G-5003 Bushing needs to be pressed into the 153-9989 Plug using a hydraulic press.
Refer to KENR7597, Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Tilt Regeneration) - Remove and Install", "Control Valve (Tilt Regeneration) - Disassemble", and "Control Valve (Tilt Regeneration) - Assemble", for additional information in completing this Rework Procedure.

The 153-9990 Valve and the 9L-9188 Spring in the 361-4731 Tilt Regeneration Valve Group must be replaced to prevent damage to the machine hydraulic system. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 15Nov2012 when scheduling this service.
