Make sure the bucket is level and with no pressure on it before the pins are removed.
1. Remove bolts (1) from the bucket pins. 2. Install tooling (A) on the tilt link pin as shown, and remove the pin.3. Install tooling (A), and remove the pins that hold the bucket to the loader frame. 4. Fasten a hoist, and remove the bucket. Weight of the standard 943 bucket is 653 kg (1450 lb.). Weight of the standard 953 bucket is 780 kg (1721 lb.).Install Bucket
1. Put clean grease on the bearings for the bucket pins. Fasten a hoist, and put the bucket in position on the loader frame. Weight of the standard 943 bucket is 653 kg (1450 lb.). Weight of the standard 953 bucket is 780 kg (1721 lb.). 2. Install tooling (A) on the bucket pin.
Be extra careful not to damage the grease seals in the loader frame.
3. Be sure the pin holes in the bucket and loader frame are in alignment, and start bucket pin (1) in the hole. Be sure the bolt hole in the bucket pin is in alignment with the bolt hole in the bucket.4. Use a sledge hammer to push bucket pins (1) through the pin holes.5. Lift or lower the front of the bucket to put the top pin hole in the bucket in alignment with the pin hole in the tilt link. 6. Install tooling (A) on bucket pin (2).
Be extra careful not to damage the grease seals in the tilt link when bucket pin (2) is installed.
7. Start bucket pin (2) in the pin hole with the bolt hole in the pin in alignment with bolt hole in the bucket.8. Use a sledge hammer to push bucket pin (2) through the pin hole. 9. Install bolts (3) to hold the bucket pins in place.
