(A) Correct orientation 15 5 degreesOn certain machines the fault code 274-3 Atmospheric pressure sensor: Voltage above normal is being logged due to the sensor orientation being out of spec (1). This incorrect orientation causes excessive wire tension resulting in broken wires and pin damage. Also, Sensor needs to be installed so that the input pressure port is as close to vertical as possible to ensure proper drainage. Reduce the possibility of ice forming on diaphragm in sensor. The proper sensor orientation should be 15 5 degrees from the vertical (A). If the atmospheric pressure sensor orientation is out of specification, adjust to the proper specification.
