Introduction
The steering deadband refers to the amount of physical movement of the STIC Control that can occur before the hydraulic system is actuated.The following procedure can be performed to adjust the steering deadband of the STIC Control to the preference of the operator. This procedure is not necessary unless the current deadband in the STIC Control is inconvenient for the current type of operation.This information includes the following procedure:

Pilot valve (STIC steering)
Correct adjustment of bracket (3) ensures the proper torquing of capsules (4).
Loosen the fittings at the end of capsules (4).
Loosen bolt (2) that is holding bracket (3).
Slide bracket (3) upward past the hex surface.
Adjust capsules (4) to the preference of the operator.
Slide bracket (3) over the hex surface on both capsules.
Tighten bolt (2) to hold bracket (3) in place.
Tighten the fittings at the end of capsules (4).
Test the steering deadband of the pilot valve.
If the adjustments are not satisfactory, repeat Step 1 through Step 8 until the steering deadband is satisfactory.
