Parts needed for installation of new oil supply lines for lubrication of the turbochargers are as follows. Installation Of Low Pressure Fuel Lines
Shut off the fuel supply at the fuel tank. Remove the low pressure fuel lines, fittings, support clips and brackets from the engine. (1) Install 3R5387 Connector (1) with 8M547 Elbow (2), and 8M755 Connector (3) with 8M547 Elbow (4). Loosely connect 6N9862 Tube Assembly (5) and 6N9861 Tube Assembly (6) to elbows (2) and (4) as shown. Remove a bolt from the aftercooler cover and install 2L6243 Bracket (7) with an S1591 Bolt and 5M2894 Washer. Use a 2H2221 Clamp, 1A2029 Bolt, 5M2894 Washer and 1D4717 Nut to fasten tube (5) to bracket (7). Use two 2H435 Clamps (8) with a 1A2029 Bolt, 1D4717 Nut, 5M2894 Washer and a 6B933 Spacer [spacer goes between clamps (8)] to fasten the tubes together for support. (2) Remove two bolts from the end cover of the thermostat housing, and use two S1571 Bolts with 5M2894 Washers to install 6N9875 Bar (9). Use a 3B1915 Bolt, one 5M2894 Washer, two 6B933 Spacers and two 2H435 Clamps (10) to fasten tube assemblies (5) and (6) to bar (9). [Put one 6B933 Spacer between the clamps and one spacer between the bottom clamp and bar (9)]. Use the former S509 Bolt and washer to fasten 6N9873 Bracket (11) to the existing plate (12) on the side of the engine. Use an S1571 Bolt, two 5M2894 Washers, two 6B933 Spacers, two 2H435 Clamps (13) and a 1D4717 Nut to fasten the tube assemblies to bracket (11). [Put one spacer between the clamps (13) and one spacer between the bottom clamp and bracket (11)].(3) Remove a bolt from the front bonnet of the engine oil cooler. Use an S1621 Bolt with the former washer to install 2P318 Bracket (14) on the oil cooler bonnet. Use a 3B1915 Bolt, two 5M2894 Washers, and two 6B933 Spacers, 1D4717 Nut and two 8S3215 Clamps to fasten the tube assemblies to bracket (14). [Put one 6B933 Spacer between the clamps (15) and one between the bottom clamp and bracket (14)]. Install 2N3378 Elbow (15), 444101 Coupling (16), and 4D3734 Union (17). Install 7L7262 Elbow (18), 39514 Fitting (19) and 4D582 Union (20).(4) Check all connections to make sure they are tightened so there will not be any fuel leakage. Turn on the fuel supply and bleed the fuel system (remove air) if necessary.Installation Of New Oil Supply Lines For Turbochargers
(1) Remove the turbocharger oil supply lines. Remove the 2S4100 Adapter and its studs from the front housing of the engine. Install two new 2M4779 Studs in the front housing in place of the former studs, and tighten the new studs to a torque of 20 3 lb.ft. (25 4). (2) Put a 2S2985 Gasket and 6N1720 Flange (1) over the new studs on the front housing aseembly. Use two 1D4717 Nuts (2) with 5M2894 Washers to fasten flange (1) to the front housing. Install 9M6522
