Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Open door assembly (1) .

Remove bolt (2) and reposition strap assembly (3).
Use two people in order to remove door assembly (1). The weight of door assembly (1) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Disconnect gas spring assembly (4). Remove bolts (5) and door assembly (1) .
Repeat Step 1 to Step 3 to the other side of machine.

Remove bolts (6) and reposition bracket assembly (7) .

Remove hose assemblies (8) from both side of the machine.

Remove clamps (9) from panel assembly (10) .

Remove clamp (11) and reposition hose assemblies (12). Remove bolts (14), all mount bolts (13), and panel assembly (10) .

Remove all clamp assemblies (15) from panel assembly (16) .

Remove bolts (21), all mount bolts (20), and panel assembly (16). If necessary, remove bolts (18) and door assembly (17) from both sides of the machine.

Loosen clamp (23) and remove rain cap (22) .

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to remove hood (24). The weight of hood (24) is approximately 63 kg (140 lb). Remove mount bolts (25) and hood (24) .Installation Procedure
Install hood (24) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten clamp (23) to a torque of 15 2 N m (133 18 lb in).
Tighten bolts (21) and bolts (14) to a torque of 30 7 N m (266 62 lb in).
Tighten clamps (14) and clamps (9) to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
Tighten clamp (11) to a torque of 15 1 N m (133 9 lb in).
Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in).
