Use a suitable lift truck and install belt (4) on the machine, as shown. Install the suitable blocks under the belt. The weight of the belt is approximately 299 kg (660 lb).

Apply Tooling (B) to the belt (4) and tire assembly (8).
Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (C) to tire assembly (8). Install tire assembly (8). The weight of tire assembly (8) is approximately 110 kg (242 lb).

Install nuts (7) on tire assembly (8). Tighten nuts (7) to a torque of 450 60 N m (333 44 lb ft). Tighten nuts (7) again to a torque of 560 60 N m (415 44 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (B) to belt (4) and tire assembly (5).
Attach a suitable lifting device to tire assembly (5) and install tire assembly (5) on the machine.
Install nuts (6) on tire assembly (5). Tighten nuts (6) to a torque of 420 25 N m (315 19 lb ft).
Charge the track tension system. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Accumulator - Test and Charge" in order to charge the hydraulic oil pressure in the accumulator.
Raise the machine and remove the suitable blocks and Tooling (A) from the machine. Lower the machine.

Install the tow arm. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tow Arm - Remove and Install".
