Drain the hydraulic tank.
Remove the gear pump.
Remove the fittings from the gear pump.
Install the fittings on gear pump (1) .
Remove the gear from the old gear pump.
Remove the adapter from the old gear pump.Note: An O-ring seal is installed on gear pump (1) in order to provide a seal between the pump and the adapter.
Install the adapter on gear pump (1) .
Install the gear on gear pump (1) .

If the machine has a manifold block directly below the gear pump, remove the front pressure sender. Install elbow (2) to the manifold block and orient elbow (2) toward the front of the machine. Install the pressure sender to elbow (2) .
Remove suction hose assembly. Replace the suction hose assembly with hose assembly (3) .Note: Use a new integral seal whenever the gear pump is replaced.
Install integral seal (4) between gear pump (1) and the engine.
Install gear pump (1) and the adapter on the engine.
Connect hydraulic hose assemblies.
Fill the hydraulic tank.
Start the engine and idle for 10 minutes. Shut off the engine and check the machine for leaks. Tighten hydraulic connections, if necessary. Add hydraulic oil, if necessary.
Run the machine for 15 minutes at high idle.
Check the steering relief valve pressure setting at high idle. Relief pressure should be 19000 345 kPa (2750 50 psi). Adjust, if necessary.
Check the machine for leaks and tighten hydraulic connections, if necessary. Add hydraulic oil, if necessary.
