Remove nuts (4) from the trailing edge of screed plate (3) .
Raise the screed. Remove screed plate (3) . The weight of screed plate (3) is approximately 70 kg (154 lb).

Remove studs (5) from screed plate (3) .Installation Procedure

Install studs (5) to screed plate (3) . Torque studs (5) to 80 5 N m (59 3.7 lb ft). Grid all studs (5) flush to the bottom of creed plate (3) .

Position screed plate (3) underneath the screed. The weight of screed plate (3) is approximately 70 kg (154 lb). Lower the screed on screed plate (3) .
Install nuts (4) to the trailing edge of screed plate (3) .

Install nuts (2) to the leading edge of screed plate (3) .

Install plates (1) and the bolts.Electric

Install studs (8) to screed plate (7) . Torque studs (8) to 80 5 N m (59 3.7 lb ft). Grid all studs (8) flush to the bottom of creed plate (7) .
Install the heater elements. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heating Element (Main Screed) - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

Install nuts (6) to the trailing edge of screed plate (7) .

Connect harness assemblies (4) .

Install cover (3) and the bolts.
