Introduction
This Special Instruction provides the details that are necessary for installing the 134-8468 Sensor As .Removal Procedure of the Existing Sensor
Remove the existing emulsion 134-8468 Sensor As from the propel transmission.
Remove 235-6964 Reducer from 134-8468 Sensor As .Installation Procedure

(1) 235-6964 Reducer (2) 353-9558 Sensor (3) Arrow
Apply Teflon tape to threads of 235-6964 Reducer (1) .
Install 235-6964 Reducer (1) to the propel transmission. Tighten 235-6964 Reducer (1) to a torque of 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
Slowly rotate sensor (2) into the reducer (1) until sensor (2) touches the gear in the transmission.

Locate small arrow (3) on sensor (2) .
Rotate sensor (2) counterclockwise until arrow (3) is in the UP position or the DOWN position.Note: The sensor must be rotated at least 1/2 turn counterclockwise.
Hold sensor (2) and tighten the locking nut to a torque of 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
Plug the sensor harness into the machine harness and secure the harness.

Install 235-6964 Reducer (1) to the propel transmission. Tighten 235-6964 Reducer (1) to a torque of 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
Slowly rotate sensor (2) into the reducer (1) until sensor (2) touches the gear in the transmission.
