Oil Distribution (1) Fan pump (2) Fan motor (3) Cooling fan solenoid (4) Anticavitation check valve (5) Port "C" (6) Port "D" (7) Port "B" (8) Rear return manifold (9) Port "F" (10) Port "E" (11) Bypass valve (12) Return filter (13) Combined suction and return filter (14) S O S port (15) Suction strainers (16) Oil cooler (17) Cooler bypass check valve (18) Oil cooler bypass manifold (19) Port "F" (20) Port "E" (21) Port "D" (22) Port "C" (23) Port "B" (24) Port "H" (25) Port "C" (26) Front return manifold (27) Port "B" (28) Return line from ventilation motor (29) Return line from tamper pump case drain (30) Return line from auxiliary pump case drain (31) Return line from fan pump case drain (32) Hydraulic tank (33) Port "B1" (34) Port "B2" (35) Bypass valve (36) Outlet line to tamper pump (37) Outlet line to auxiliary pump (38) Makeup valveWhen the engine is operating, fan pump (1) generates flow. Pump supply oil flows to cooling fan solenoid (3) and flows to fan motor (2). Inside the fan motor, supply oil closes anticavitation check valve (4) .The engine ECM energizes cooling fan solenoid (3) when the engine is operating. This solenoid directs some oil to port "A" of oil cooler bypass manifold (18). The remaining supply oil is sent through fan motor (2). The amount of flow that is directed through the fan motor is dependent upon the operating temperature of the machine. When the engine is stopped, the inertia of the fan blades causes fan motor (2) to continue to turn for a brief period. Since the engine is not operating during this time, fan pump (1) does not provide flow in order to prevent motor cavitation. In this case, the anticavitation check valve (4) opens. The anticavitation check valve prevents motor cavitation by allowing the fan motor to draw oil from the return line.Oil cooler bypass manifold (18) receives return oil from the following locations:
Fan motor (2) (port "A")
Right feeder pump case drain port "B" (23)
Left feeder pump case drain port "C" (22)
Left conveyor motor case drain port "D" (21)
Manual brake valve port "E" (20)
Left propel motor case drain port "F" (19)
Rear return manifold (5) (port "J")Front return manifold (26) receives return oil from the following locations:
Tamper and vibrator motor case drain port "C" (25)
Tamper return port "B" (27)
Tow point and hopper valves port "H" (24)
Main auxiliary valve port "H" (24) .Rear return manifold (8) receives return oil from the following locations:
Screed vibrator at port "B" (7)
Right auger motor case drain at port "C" (5)
Right conveyor motor case drain at port "D" (6)
Left auger motor case drain at port "E" (10)
Right propel motor case drain at port "F" (9) .The combined return oil is sent out port "TC" of the manifold, to oil cooler (16). Oil cooler bypass manifold (18) is equipped with a 105 kPa (15 psi) cooler bypass check valve (17). When the pressure differential across the oil cooler is greater
