Introduction
This Special Instruction provides the information that is necessary to install 255-1663 Pilot Lines Gp on Certain Hydraulic Excavators.Safety Section
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Install connector assembly (4) and connector assembly (8) into filter assemblies (A) and (C) .
Install elbow assemblies (10) into valve manifold (B), filter assembly (A), and filter assembly (C) .
Install elbow assembly (11) into filter assembly (A) .
Install elbow assemblies (9) into valve manifold (B) .
Install fitting assembly (5), pressure switch assembly (7) and filter assembly (A) .
Install fitting assembly (5), fitting assembly (6) and pressure switch assembly (7) into filter assembly (A).
Install hose assembly (1) between filter assembly (A) and valve manifold (B) .
Install hose assembly (2) between filter assembly (C) and valve manifold (B) .
Install hose assembly (3) between filter assembly (A) and valve manifold (B) .
Install hose assembly (3) between filter assembly (C) and valve manifold (B) .
