Introduction
This Special Instruction will explain the installation of the new fuel sender.Read the entire Special Instruction before you order any parts or perform the following procedure.
Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the start switch off when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately.

364-4361 Fuel Level Sender As 1
364-4362 Adapter 1 Procedure to Remove the Existing Fuel Level Sender
Park the machine on a smooth, flat surface. Turn the engine start switch OFF position.
Open the hood and install the safety device for the hood.

Disconnect harness assembly (3) .
Remove the six screws and the existing fuel sender (2) from fuel tank (1) .Procedure to Install the New Fuel Sender

Install the gasket that was used with the existing fuel level sender, and new 364-4362 Adapter (5) to fuel tank (1) using the existing six screws. Tighten the six screws to a torque of 2 0.25 N m (18 2.00 lb in).
Install new 364-4361 Fuel Level Sender As (4) into new 364-4362 Adapter (5). Tighten new 364-4361 Fuel Level Sender As to a torque of 37.5 2.5 N m (28 2.0 lb ft).
Connect harness assembly (6) .
Remove the safety device and close the hood.
