Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location that is away from operating machines and away from personnel.
Place the transmission direction in the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake. Place wheel blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Lower the bucket or the work tool to the ground.
Stop the engine.

Install the steering frame lock.
Relieve the pressure in the hydraulic system. Reference: For more information about relieving the hydraulic pressure, refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release" for the machine that is being serviced.Reference: For more information about preparing the machine for Testing and Adjusting, refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "Machine Preparation for Testing and Adjusting" for the machine that is being serviced.Test Procedure
Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel away from the machine or in sight of the operator.
Relieve the pressure in the hydraulic system. Reference: For more information about relieving the hydraulic pressure, refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release" for the machine that is being serviced.

Gain access to the quick coupler valve group (1) located at the upper left side of the articulated hitch. Install tooling (A) on test port (2).
Start the engine and warm the hydraulic oil to a normal operating temperature of approximately 49 to 65°C (120 to 150°F).
Run the engine at high idle.
Operate the quick coupler.
Record the maximum pressure obtained on tooling (A) for the "EXTEND" mode of quick coupler operation. Note: Test port (2) is only for the "EXTEND" pressure.
Reduce the engine speed to low idle.
Turn the engine key switch to the OFF position.
Release the hydraulic pressure. Refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release".
If the pressure reading is correct, proceed to step 11. Refer to Table 1 for the pressure setting appropriate to the coupler installed. If the pressure reading is not correct, adjust the quick coupler pressure reducing valve. In order
