Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove bucket.
When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.
Start the engine. Park the machine on a hard, level surface. Fully extend the stick. Shut off the engine.
Release the hydraulic system pressure.

Extend bucket cylinder (1) out completely in order to rest bucket linkage assembly (2) on a flat surface.

Install suitable cribbing under bucket cylinder (1)

Attach a suitable lifting device to bucket linkage (2) in order to stop cylinder from falling after bucket cylinder (1) and pin (3) are removed. The weight of bucket linkage assembly (1) is approximately 136.0777 kg (300 lb). Installation Procedure
Install bucket linkage assembly (1) in reverse order of removal.
