START BY:a) remove pump driveb) remove articulation cylinders 1. Lower the blade to the ground.
Do not disconnect any air lines from the machine until the air pressure is zero.
2. Release the air pressure in the air tank by loosening the bleed valves.
Oil that is hot can cause personal injury. To prevent personal injury, let the oil become cool before the hydraulic oil is removed from the hydraulic tank.
3. Remove the oil from the hydraulic tank.4. Put identification on the air lines and the oil lines as to their location in the clamps on the front and rear frames on the left side of the machine.5. Remove the lines from clamp (1) on the front frame. Remove the lines from the clamp on the rear frame. Replace the clamps and nuts that hold the clamps.6. Put identification on all air and oil lines on the left side of the machine as to their location on the front frame. Disconnect air and oil lines from their locations on the front frame. 7. Remove the bolts and cover from clutch control housing (2).8. Remove bolt (3). Remove end (4). Remove nut (6). Remove cable (5) from the housing. Replace all components on the cable. 9. Remove the cotter pin and pin (8) from articulation indicator linkage (7). Move the linkage free of the rear frame. 10. Put identification on all lines as to their location in the clamps on the front and rear frames on the right side of the machine.11. Remove nuts (10) and clamp (9). Remove the lines from the clamp on the front frame. Remove the lines from the clamp on the rear frame. Replace the clamps and the nuts that hold the clamps.12. Put identification on the battery cable, starter cable, air lines and all electric wires as to their location on the rear frame. Disconnect these lines from their location on the rear frame. 13. Remove the bolts and cover from transmission control housing (14).14. Remove bolt (11). Remove end (12). Remove nut (13). Remove both cables from the housing. Replace all components on the cables. 15. Remove the bolts and cover from governor control housing (15). Remove cable (16) from the housing in the same manner as the transmission control cables.16. Removal all lines and cables that were disconnected from the front and rear frames. Put the lines and cables under the machine.17. Install the lockpin in the wheel lean bar and the front axle.18. Put blocks under the front wheels so they can not move. 19. Put a fork lift truck in position at the rear of the rear frame.20. Remove the four bolts that hold cover (17) to the frame. Install two 1/2"-13 NC forcing screws (18) in the provided holes in cover (17).21. Lift or lower the rear frame with the fork lift truck to release top pin (19). Remove top pin (19) with the forcing screws. 22. Remove bolts (21) that hold plate (20) to the frame and the bottom pin.
