TANK GP-HYDRAULIC 2809600 - Caterpillar

In a previous improvement, the new 268-8378 Support replaced the former 250-2556 Angle on the left hand console group. The new 268-8379 Support replaced the former 250-2556 Angle on the right hand console group. The new supports were effective with the machines that are listed in Table 2.

Left Hand Console Group (B) Pilot Lines Group (3) 9X-2043 Screw (4) 250-2556 Angle
Remove the two screws (3) and the angle (4) in the left hand console group. Refer to Illustration 2.
Use two new 9X-2044 Screws and install a new 273-5301 Support. Tighten the screws to 12 3 N m (9 2 lb ft).
Remove the two screws (3) and the angle in the right hand console group.
Use two new 9X-2044 Screws and install a new 273-5302 Support. Tighten the screws to 12 3 N m (9 2 lb ft).Machines That Are Configured Without The 250-2556 Angle
Remove the two 9X-2043 Screws. Remove the guard or the angle that is in the left hand console group.
Use two new 9X-2044 Screws and install a new 273-5301 Support. Tighten the screws to 12 3 N m (9 2 lb ft).
Remove the two 9X-2043 Screws. Remove the guard or the angle that is in the right hand console group.
Use two new 9X-2044 Screws and install a new 273-5302 Support. Tighten the screws to 12 3 N m (9 2 lb ft).
