The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.Problem
Users may not able to open an asset in Operator Management System (OMS) on Certain Cat® Product Link. Users are not able to search for the asset in OMS without timing out and receiving the spinning wheel indefinitely. Generated searches are not returning a response within the designated 1.7 minute time window and the program times out. This results in the program getting stuck in a loop waiting for that response.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem. The team is working to resolve the issue in the January 2018 back-office software update.
