When the switch for the disable function is activated, the ECM prevents the lockup clutch from engaging. This function can be entered in "Park", or "Neutral". This function can also be entered when Stall Enable is enabled.Note: An E047-2 Transmission Abuse Event shall be logged if the transmission is running in torque converter drive and the engine rpm is greater than 1700 for a period of more than 30 seconds. This will prevent the transmission from operating continuously with the switch in the position for a pressure test. When the switch for the disable function is deactivated, the transmission operates under normal conditions.
