Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the access cover (expansion tank). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Access Cover (Expansion Tank) - Remove and Install".

Loosen clamps (2) and (4). Remove tube (3). Remove the bolt and clamp (1) .

Loosen clamp (5) .
Remove clamp (7) and remove tube (6) .

Loosen clamp (8) .
Remove the bolt and clamp (9) .
Remove the two nuts, the four washers, the two bolts, and clamp (10) .

Loosen clamps (12). Remove tube (11) from air aftercooler (13) .
Loosen clamp (17). Remove tube (15) from air aftercooler (13) .
Use two people to remove air aftercooler (13). The weight of air aftercooler (13) is approximately 26 kg (57 lb). Remove the bolts, the washers, and air aftercooler (13) .Installation Procedure
Install air aftercooler (13) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten clamp (7) to a torque of 10 2 N m (89 18 lb in).End By: Install the access cover (expansion tank). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Access Cover (Expansion Tank) - Remove and Install".
