Specifically, an inspection step was added to examine the quality of each solder joint of the sensor lead wires with the sensor prior to potting the unit.

Date Code
The part number of the sensor remains the same through this process change. Sensors undergoing the new quality check will have a date code after the 14th week of 2015. The date code can be seen etched into the side of the sensing rod following the serial number but prior to the part number.
