Remove the gear pump (torque converter and parking brake release). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Torque Converter and Parking Brake Release) - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Mark the four sections of gear pump (1) for assembly purposes.
Remove bolts (2) in order to remove plate (3) and the O-ring seal from oil pump cover (4).

Remove bolts (6). Remove bolts (8) in order to remove pump cover (7) and the O-ring seal from oil pump body (5).

Use Tooling (A) in order to remove bearings (9) from pump cover (7).

Remove gear (13) from pump gear assembly (11).
Remove gear (13) from pump gear assembly (10). Remove woodruff key (12) from pump gear assembly (10).

Remove oil pump body (5) and the O-ring seal from oil pump body (15).
Remove dowels (14) from oil pump body (5).

Remove oil pump cover (4) and the O-ring seal from oil pump body (16).

Remove oil pump body (16) and the O-ring seal from oil pump body (15).
Remove dowels (14) from oil pump body (16).
Remove gear (17) from pump gear assembly (11).
Remove gear (17) from pump gear assembly (10). Remove woodruff key (12) from pump gear assembly (10).

Remove pump gear assembly (10) and pump gear assembly (11) from oil pump body (15).

Use Tooling (A) in order to remove sleeve bearings (18) from oil pump body (15).
Remove dampers (19) from oil pump body (15).
